In 1970, initiated by Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Werner Krämer and supported by eight shareholders as well as the municipalities of Bühl and Forbach, we laid the foundation for what Mehliskopf is today: A versatile leisure center that originally started as a pure ski resort. Our first major achievements were the installation of lifts 1 and 2 in the early 70s, followed by additional lifts and the introduction of advanced snowmaking technology in the mid-80s to enable skiing even during less snowy winters.

The challenges of milder winters and the need to improve economic results led us to expand our offerings. In 2001, we decided to build a year-round bobsleigh track, a decision that proved to be economically farsighted and turned Mehliskopf into a year-round leisure destination. The track, over a kilometer long, offers thrilling rides and the opportunity to dive into fantastic worlds with virtual reality glasses.

To further diversify our offerings, we opened an adventure climbing park, inviting young and old to test their limits at dizzying heights. The climbing park, complemented by an educational info trail, a playful forest playground, and a downhill track for thrilling descents with special vehicles, makes Mehliskopf a place where nature, sports, and adventure uniquely converge.

Our continuous development and adaptation to the needs of our guests have made Mehliskopf a popular destination for all who love nature, crave adventure, or simply want to have a good time with family and friends. Mehliskopf stands for diversity, innovation, and the pursuit of providing every visitor with unforgettable experiences.
