Directions
From the A 5 Rhine Valley Motorway, exit Bühl, L 83, it is 17 km via Bühlertal to Sand or Herrenwies.
From Baden-Baden, take the B 500 Schwarzwaldhochstraße, direction Freudenstadt, 15 km, via the Murgtal.
From the B 462 (Rastatt-Freudenstadt) via the Murgtal, at Raumünzach (Hotel Wasserfall), take the L 83 along the Schwarzenbach dam to Herrenwies or Sand, 11 km.
We are connected to public transport with 3 bus lines:
- Baden-Baden-Schwarzwaldhochstraße-Ruhestein, stop Sand/Schwarzwald, line x45
- Forbach-Sand/Schwarzwald, stop Sand or Mehliskopf on Saturdays and Sundays, line 263 / line 246
- Bühl-Sand-Hundseck, stop Sand/Schwarzwald
The city railway (S41) from Karlsruhe to Freudenstadt (or vice versa) stops in the Murgtal at Raumünzach station. There you can change to the bus, line 246 (see above).
