What to expect with us

We see our Mehliskopf ski resort as a meeting point for winter sports enthusiasts, whether young or old, beginners or pros, with friends or family. Everyone should feel comfortable surrounded by nature and friendly people, enjoying their sport and forgetting everyday life for a few hours or days!

Our DSLV-certified professional snow sports school (including rental) right on the slope is happy to assist newcomers and ensure a pleasant introduction to the sport.

Our four drag lifts

On our slope (the longest in the Northern Black Forest), advanced skiers have the choice between four drag lifts:

  • Lift 3, approximately 350m long, takes athletes to gently sloping terrain, perfect for practicing first turns or gliding leisurely down the slope.
  • Our Lift 4 transports skiers and snowboarders approximately 400m further up the mountain. On the descent, there is initially a short, steeper section before the slope levels off with a slight incline towards the bottom.
  • Lifts 1 & 2 carry snow sports enthusiasts over a length of approximately 900m up to an altitude of 1009m above sea level. The descent from here appeals to advanced skiers and professionals alike, featuring a steep slope with a gradient of 36 degrees and a snow park, fulfilling every wish!

Winter operations begin as soon as temperatures allow for snowmaking or when there is sufficient natural snow cover. The winter season typically starts between November/December and ends in March/April. Depending on snow conditions, we are usually open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (with floodlit night skiing until 9:00 PM).
